What you will need:

 

The ideal candidate will be an Application Engineer that has had increasing positions of responsibility with at least a year of formal people leadership experience with three or more direct reports. Cerner Millennium development in CCL as well as a background in object oriented development is highly preferred.

 

Education and Experience:

·          Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

·          5 to 7 years’ experience with increasing responsibility in the development, implementation, configuration, deployment, maintenance and ongoing support of integrated healthcare systems.

·          A programming / technical background with 5 to 7 years’ experience with two or more programming languages or specialties (ordered by priority): Cerner development/support (CCL, Discern tools, etc), SQL, XML, JAVA, Object Oriented development, JavaScript, Oracle, and websphere.
